Nancy Bain, Kindermusik, Woodwinds & Brass
Nancy Bain, licensed Kindermusik educator for eleven years, is also an active professional flutist. Before Kindermusik training, she served Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools as a band director for many years. Nancy is a creative and energetic educator, with a keen sense of the individual needs of each learner whether two or fifty-two. With a Master of Music Education degree from Winthrop University, she leads a busy life balancing her career in music education with raising three active young girls.
Nancy wanted for several years to start a band for home schoolers, something not previously available to the home school community. We are proud to have one now established at our school as of January 2010 and look forward to it's growth next year. Her future plans include establishing a Charlotte band for senior citizens!
