We are the oldest Kindermusik program in the Charlotte area founded by the current director of education at Kindermusik International. Begun at Queens University, Betsy Gurske has served thousands of Charlotte's children over the course of her fifteen year Kindermusik career, and is priveleged to work alongside her colleague, Nancy Bain, for eleven years. This Fall they are welcoming Charlotte Woody, early childhood educator, musician and Kindermusik parent to their staff and to the community of educators around the world.
This internationally acclaimed music curriculum started thirty years ago in Greensboro, NC. Betsy has the special distinction of being a Maestro program, recognized by Kindermusik International as part of the top 5% of producers since the program's inception. This past year, she was awarded the additional distinction of "Maestro in Outreach" for her outreach to physically, emotinally or financially disadvantaged children.
